Monday, June 29th, 2009

Hi Gang!
As closed beta began, there was a possibility that all accounts would be deleted at the end of the closed beta period.

Since then, it has been determined that accounts created during the beta period WILL NOT BE DELETED. In a word, yay! in two words, double yay!

Thanks for joining us! Stay fun and stay safe!

Daily Dino Fact! Buckland’s Peak

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

Hi Webosaurs!

There’s a reason why we named that big mountain “Buckland’s Peak.”  William Buckland happens to be the very first scientist to write a full accounting about fossils found from a Dino Dig. That dude-asaurus was waaaay gnarly -  I mean that in a good way little dino bros! if you can get to Buckland’s Peak, see if you can do a little damage at the radical Battle Arena! you’ll be glad you did!

This is Stretch signing off little dudes! Surf’s up!

It’s Ginormous! Giganotosaurus, Even!

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Hey Webosaurs,
It’s Dino Dig time! Check out what I discovered today:

It's giganoto-normous!

It's giganoto-normous!

It’s a Giganotosaurus! I think that’s one of my distant relatives – we’re related… I think… somehow… Word on the street is he’s bigger than me, but he has a brain only about half as big. Even I could’a told ya that!

I won 46 coins for digging him up too – does that qualifies as my inheritance? Har har har! The powers that be gave us more time in the dino dig too – Ten whole minutes! and BOoy did I need them. I made it out in just 9 seconds left. Can you beat my time? BRING IT!!!

Catch you dinos later!

Daily Dino Fact – Pterodactyl n’est pas une Dinosaur

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

Eureka-saurus, Webosaurs! I’m taking a little break from Dr. Nanosaurus’ lab to bring you your Daily Dino Fact!

Did you know that pterodactyls and pterosaurs are the same thing? And technically a pterodactyl is NOT a dinosaur. “Dinosaurs” are land vertebrates with an upright walk, while pterodactyls are flying reptiles. This flying reptile is flying back to the lab to work on more goodies for my pals. See you back on Webosaurs Island!

Bye for now!

Daily Dino Fact – Horns really do rule!

What up, Webosaurs! Everyone keeps asking me how I got so awesome, and I tell them I drink Swamp Juice. But I also have something that makes me way more awesome than everyone else (other than my sweet pectorals).

The skull of the triceratops is about one third the length of its body, and is one of the largest skulls of any documented land animal. So, yah – I have the biggest skull. I know you’re jealous. That’s cool too.

Although Triceratops have 3 horns on their heads, only the two horns on our foreheads are thought to be strong and long enough to withstand blows. If that darn swamp monster comes after me, I would lower my head and charge to show him what’s up. That’s right. I rule.

werd,
Horns.
