Daily Dino Fact: Dinosaurs, warm-blooded or cold-blooded?
Warm-blooded dinos?
One of the biggest debates in paleontology today is whether dinosaurs were endotherms (warm-blooded) or ectotherms (cold-blooded). The difference is huge, as it would change the entire way we look at dinosaurs.
Endothermic dinosaurs would be fast, agile and active. Ectothermic dinosaurs would eat less and spend a lot of time in the sun. Dinosaurs evolved from cold-blooded animals (reptiles) and evolved into warm-blooded ones (birds). But not all dinosaurs were the same size or had the same diets, so it’s possible they could have been both.
There has been evidence on both sides, and some paleontologists think certain theropod dinos (like raptors) had feathers!
So what do you think? Were dinosaurs warm-blooded or cold-blooded?

The Raptors such as Deinonychus were probably warm-blooded! But i think that there were dinosaurs with cold-blood.

Because one of the closest relatives to dinosaurs is the crocidile, I think they were cold blooded.

I’d say cold blood as i think thats what lizards are and they sort of have the same skin and also crocodiles are cold blooded i think which are alike dinos and were there around the same time.

I think during the early dino times they were cold blooded and slowly got warm blooded. VVVEEERRRRYYY SLLLOOWWWLLLYYY!!!

i think there are warm blooded cause they are meat eaters like T.REX Allosaurus Ptreanadon and Eoraptor and Herrerasaurus Troodon Ptrerodactylus Diloposaur Therizinosaur Cretaceous Magaraptor Utahraptor Deinraptor Velcoiraptor Bambiraptor Edmontosaur are all meat eaters and warm blooded dinoasaurs that lived sixty-five millon years ago and die cause a meteor hit earth and kill the dinoasaurus that live long ago
