Webosaurs Blog Entry Contest
Hey gang, I’m pleased to announce that the Webosaurs Blog is going to be holding a very special Blog Entry Contest! The concept is simple, submit a “blog entry” that you want to be judged and the winner will get to write another blog entry to be featured on the Webosaurs Blog. Essentially the winner will become a one-time author on the Webosaurs Blog, with a final edit by Mio of course. If you’d like to enter, submit your poetry, short story, essay or blog entry as either a comment on this blog entry or on the Forum here. As always, the normal rules of Webosaurs apply: no personal information, no inappropriate content and the submissions must be about Webosaurs! All submissions must be in no later than Thursday, November 4th. Finalists will be judged by their peers on the Webosaurs Forum and the winner will be announced the following week. So put some pens to paper and get cranking on your submissions, I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Here’s my short story Mio!
‘I can’t do it!’ I groaned, ‘Try harder’ insisted Pterry. If you don’t know whats happening yet I’m going to English classes and Pterry is the teacher. There is a contest on the blog and i’m determined to win it. ‘Pterry I need a break’I said breaking the silence, ‘As you wish Chill, classes are tomorrow at 15.00, class dismissed’ said Pterry. But today wasn’t a total loss, Mio gave me 1250 coins so I can order pizza tonight. I walked over to my cave door and opened it, I walked over to my chair and sat on it lazily, I put on the firefly light and picked up the phone. ‘This is the Jurassic Pizza Company, what can I get for you’ said a quite clear voice over the phone ‘ I would like to order from the Carnivore menu’ I said ‘I would like The Theropod pizza some pterry wings with how sauce and a can of swamp juice’ I said, ‘Order coming up’ the clear voice said again. Thirty minutes later my bell rang, I walked over to see a large blue Allosaurus standing beside my door with and espression that told me that he didn’t like his job very much, I took my order and walked in. An hour later I sat on my couch with my floor littered with pizza boxes and swamp juice cans. Then I decided it was time to sleep and I went to my bed and slept off. My day went as normal and by 15.00 I walked over to the secret entrance at Hillside Canopy for my English lessons with Pterry. I was determined to try my best, with that I picked up the courage to push over the secret hatch and I descended into the shadowy cavern that was Pterry’s lab. An hour later me and Pterry came up from the secret hatch and I was clutching a piece of paper tightly ‘Do you like your short story?’ asked Pterry ‘Yes’ I said half heartedly, ‘You better get ready for the ceremony tomorrow’ he said. Tomorrow I woke up nice and early and got dressed in my best dress and I headed of to Forest Floor. When I arrived I saw Pterry beside the Nacho stand. I ran over to say hello ‘Shhh’ Pterry said quietly they are announcing the winner. I looked at a crowd of hopeful dinos and sighed as Mio got up to the stage and spoke I closed my eyes and expected the worst. The atmosphere was electric ‘And the winner is……Chillsaurus!!!’ I couldn’t believe my ears, there must be a mistake, but there wasn’t. I punched the air in joy. The next day I would be posting my own column on the blog. Remember if you believe you can do it you will do it, If you believe you can’t do it then you truly can’t do it.

Uhh…I’m not really getting What we should write about…A little help???
Basically you can write any original piece about Webosaurs… It could be a story you made up involving Webosaurs characters, a poem about Horns’ toots, an essay about an invention that Dr. Nanosaurus is working on… literally anything written that shows your creativity. The sky is the limit!

Yo Mio, heres MY short story:
I sigh. I wonder aloud, “Why aren’t Webosaurs including Prehistoric Wolves?”. The thought haunts me. I shrug. A voice behind me makes me jump. He says “What are you talking about?”. I turn to see Mio standing behind me. “I uh… uh…” I stammer. “You were saying something about Prehistoric Wolves, was it?” he says. “Well yeah, but its all foolish. Wolves! Silly…” I lie. He must have saw the look in my eyes, because he said sarcastically, “Well I better get back to feeding my vampire!”. With that, he walked off. If making me feel better was his intention, he failed epicly. In fact, i felt worse. The next day I walked to the calm Hillside Canopy to doodle. I doodled wolves, and Smilodons and even a T- Rex with long arms! But mostly wolves. I wish that we had them. I sigh and rip out the doodles from my notebook and throw them away. I go back to my cave, depressed. Several hours later i heard a knock on my door. I answer and is startled to see Mio with a piece of paper in his hands. Thoughts race through my mind: Oh no. He must have found my doodles! I might be BANNED! “Hello Mioster” he says. “Hi Mio” I say awkwardly.”I found these in Hillside Canopy. It has your name on it, so i was wondering if you owned it.” he says. I look at it. “… Uh,y-yeah… I- its mine…” I stammer. He hands me it. “You know, mioster, some of these are really good.” he says. “R-really? Y-you mean it?” I ask. He nods. I smile. “Thanks Mio”, I say. “No problem, Mioster” he replies, and now hes smiling too. “Could I see them again, Mioster?” he asks. “Yeah, sure.” I say, as I hand him it. “Say, Mioster? Could I show this to the rest of the Webo staff?” he asks. ” Sure Mio!” I reply. He nods the leaves. My heart pounds as i fall asleep. When i wake up I see a note on my door. I read aloud: “Dear Mioster, I let the staff see it, and they said they will try to do the Wolf and Smilodon thing. You should be proud of those doodles.” I didn’t even have to look at the name to tell who wrote it, but i still did: “-Mio”. I smile. “YEEESSSSS!!!”

16:00 WST
TODAY IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!! “why” you wondering well first tomorrow is my b-day Oct.26 140,000,156 b.c. and i’m so excited. today on the blog Mio wrote about an AWESOME!!!!!!! new contest of being able to post on the webo blog on your own pg. any ways i was on webo when OUT!!!! OF NOWHERE!!!! I saw Flyboy and Mio come on to webosaurs (its so weird how they always come on the same time i wonder if they have Telepathysaurs) and then when i checked my player card thingy i saw all the mods were online!!!!!! at first i thought they were coming to arrest someone but then Mio said “NO there’s no webosaurs jail” “i said are you sure” but it seems i was going CRAZY!!!!!!!!
then we all went to the arcade then Mio and some dinos went to play some demolition derby and i stayed bak with Flyboy. when OUT!! OF NOW WHERE!!!!!! i saw a ghost and it said FLYBOY!!!! On the bottom of it :O i remembered the picture of flyboy rising off his grave but then turn unto a ghost THATS JUST……….. INSANE!!!!!!!!!! after those weird min. i went to tonto plateue (however you spell that webosaurs always makes the longest name for places XD (thats a good thing) ) wat! was i thinking making an bracket over a bracket :O any ways so… i saw MIO there with some other dinos like sludge Rahuu randomlol etc. all the dinos you see online 24/7 when Mio was talking about TAYLER SWIFT!!!!!! “I LUV HER!!!!!” he yelled and he was saying stuff like she should do a virtual concert and that he luvs!!!!!!!! her album i guess Mio is the new Rex and justin bieber but with tayler swift well any ways as normal Mio had to leave SUPER FAST!!!!! and before i blinked he was gone already!!!!!! (WOW!!! MIO and REX are really FAST CLICKERS!!!) any ways thats why today was the best day EVER!!!!!!!! XD

Today my dream comes true when i saw you webosaurs
Having lots of friends here is a wonderful view of the worldHving with me
Pterry and his mighty inventions,
Rexxy with his funny heart
Stretch who likes to stretch and who will not do a simple move with a butterfly
Horns with his competiting ming
Mio with his boogie moves
And lots of pleasant mod
Oh and also how is it fun to play with our lethal but friendly pet
All the friendly friends here who play in harmony even if we fight it is in harmony
My dream came true with webosaurs

We are dinosaurs, we roamed the earth
65 million years ago!
We’re all friends- we’re no foe!
Rexxy’s got those really short arms but that type of guy you can depend on
Pterry has that inventin’ heart that never makes a dino yawn
Horns has got those mighty muscles and those super big Triceratops Buns,
Stretch is one gnarly dude who always will be number one!
The games are awesome, full of fun,
The coins they give for everyone!
There’s lots to buy there’s no contest
What cave, webosaur, or pet is the best!
From armor to furniture to actions to pets
They are all selling out like hypersonic jets!
But it’s not all about games, oh, there’s so much more,
From Tonto Plateau to The Forest Floor
We party like animals, with Rexxy, Pterry Horns and Stretch
We even act like dogs and play dino fetch!
Oh! Have I mentioned such a thing?
As Webosaurs, the place where we sing
With glory, glee, and a little bit of a roar,
If we all get together we will make it soar!
Oh, this is the place we all call home,
Webosaurs island, where nobody roams alone,
We all are here, and we always will be
Till’ the time it ends in pure harmony
We have dependability for the mods and the pros
Who makes Webo safe and helps webo develop and grow
The wonderful art and the wonderful devs
