Got no head, got lots of XP!

Hey gang, if you’re like me you LOVE Halloween. I can’t wait to dress up and my costume is great this year, do you all have good ones? (If you leave your costume ideas as comments on this post you may get an XP surprise .) And what’s going on on Webosaurs Island this year for Halloween? I’m glad you asked, HeadlessHorns, will be loose on the Island this Saturday and Sunday. Who is HeadlessHorns?? He’s an evil character controlled by Spike making fun of our beloved Horns! Spike just thinks he can get away with anything, well we can’t stand for it! Each time you hit Headless with a pumpkin and record it as an image you’ll get 250XP. The same rules as last week apply, the two dinos with the most Headless Snap Shotz will get to choose one of two collectible Webosaur Cave Items! HeadlessHorns will be on the Island at the following times:

Saturday: 10:00 WST, 11:00 WST, 13:00 WST and 15:00 WST, 17:00 WST

Sunday: 9:00 WST, 10:00 WST,  13:00 WST and 14:00 WST

That’s not all! We are also going to have a couple of fun parties this weekend with some CLASSIC cave items by our resident artist Kickinwing also WackyMo will be on the Island to hand them out! Make sure to get to both parties to get both items.

Hey gang, some of you may know that it’s Webosaurs’ Anniversary this weekend and we’re going to have an old school blowout to celebrate. We’ll be partying on Saturday and Sunday, but that’s not all… We’re also going to give out batches of XP for everyone that can hit Spike with the mighty Pumpkin. What better way to begin celebrating Halloween than by throwing a big, juicy, goo-filled pumpkin at everyone’s favorite nemesis… Spike! All you have to do is get a picture of Spike with pumpkin guts on him and send it to me. It can be a comment on this blog post or it can be posted on the Forum here, but whoever posts those photos will get 500 XP (participants can post more than one photo for more XP as long as Spike is in a different landscape each time).

We’ll also be celebrating Webosaurs Island in a major way! We’ll be celebrating at 12:00 WST on Saturday and 14:00 WST on Sunday! Both of these parties will be happening in Rumble Rocks Cave (because it’s a Spike-Free zone) and everyone who attends will receive this awesome Anniversary Cake! There will also be some old-school special guests, don’t miss it!

Get in on the FUN!

Hey gang, check it out! There is a new group forming on the Island! The Webosaurs Spies - these guys are serious about keeping Spike and Okvango off Webosaurs Island and it looks like they’re doing a good job! I think the Webosaurs Spies have even figured out how to have a Spike-free Anniversary Party this weekend, which should be a nice change of pace, but more on that later.

Here’s how the Webosaurs Spies work: any Webo Spies that catch Spike sneaking around the Island, Okvango attacking or any activity that seems suspicious needs to report their findings to a moderator. If they are successful in stopping Spike’s attack or they find some very useful information they’ll be rewarded by having their name featured on the homepage in the new News Section. Whomever reports the most useful information for the Webosaurs Spies over the next couple of months will be the first to receive a new Webosaurs Spies Badge and will become the first official member of the group! Stay tuned and keep an eye out for trouble. See you on the Island!

It looks like the Webosaurs Spies have cracked the code! I’m excited that they were able to figure out what it says, but it doesn’t sound like it’s good news! After a long night of deciphering it was determined that this is an alphanumeric code, each letter is represented by numbers (A=01, B=02 etc.)! If you unscramble the letters it reads:

STRIKE TIMES

FRIDAY – 17:30

SATURDAY – 10:00 & 13:00

SUNDAY – 11:00 & 14:00

Does this mean what I think it means? Is he attacking the Gushing Geyser at these times? I’m not convinced that it’s not a trap, what if he just WANTS us to think he’s attacking at these times? Whatever is happening we had better be prepared for serious action from our old “friend” Spike. See you on the Island (I hope!).
