Party time!!

This Thursday our very own Juiceking is coming to the Island to par-tay!! If you missed the chance to ask him a question when we recorded our video, this is the perfect chance to meet Juice face to face and ask him yourself. For those who don’t know, Juiceking is the Webosaurs Art Director and the one who drew many of the landscapes and came up with the personalities for the Webosaurs characters. Juice is a character all by himself too and fun to hang out with.

Party starts this Thursday at 16:00 WST at the Prairie Pool in the Jurassic server. Juice will be there to answer questions, joke around and have a good time! And for those who haven’t seen the infamous video yet… here it is…

If anyone out there didn’t believe in sea serpents, Webosaurs has just proven you wrong! Sea serpents have been spotted in caves all across the island.

We had some really great caves today and a tough decision to make. After a day spent looking for these marvelous, mysterious serpents in your caves, we’ve finally picked our winners. Make sure to wish them a job well done!

Saturday, August 7th is Sea Serpent Day! Don’t believe me? That’s fine because most people don’t believe in sea serpents at all. It’s a special day of the year where we can celebrate mythical sea creatures and tales of beasts like the Loch Ness Monster.

 There might be no such thing as a dino eating monster, but here on Webosaurs, we believe in sea serpents! In honor of Sea Serpent Day, we’re challenging everyone to a sea serpent themed cave contest. Create a cave that one of these legendary monsters would love to call home and you could win!

 The caves that best promote Sea Serpent Day will win a bluggin’ banner to stick in their caves and be featured here in our blog. Judges will be visiting caves this Sunday. Post a reply to this blog post to let us know you’re entering!

Pterry is coming back to the Island this Saturday to host an awesome quiz party on your favorite Daily Dino Facts! No one knows science better than he does, so he’ll be testing your knowledge to the max. He’ll be asking questions from ANY Daily Dino Fact I’ve ever written, along with questions from the Pterry’s True Science series that he sometimes does on the blog.

Meet Pterry at Buckland’s Peak this Saturday at 12:00 WST in the Jurassic server to start the quiz party. As with past quiz parties, Pterry will ask a question and the first person to answer correctly will win a Webopedia trophy. This is a great chance to earn a killer gold trophy for your cave!

Selling new characters for cheeaappsy

A few days ago we lowered the prices of the pets for you, and now we’ve done the same for new characters. After purchasing a new character, you are able to switch your avatar at any time from your player profile. Great for mixing things up a bit, and sometimes can be a shocker for your friends! This feature is available for member’s only.

The swamp is ripe with bugs, and they all need to be DESTROYED!

Suggested by Hornstrkier on Twitter, this week’s Game of the Week is Shoo Bug! Found in the Soggy Bottom Swamp, Shoo Bug is the game where you take a fly swatter and swat the bug juice out of insects that are invading all over! Make it through enough waves and you’ll come across a Black Scorpion who will prove no easy opponent!

As with all Game of the Week’s, Shoo Bug will be giving out many more coins than normal this week so head on over to the Soggy Bottom Swamp and start killing some insects.
