At over 65 million years old, Horns had a lot of parties

Oh yeah!!! It’s the moment you all have been waiting for. Yes, it is Horns’ birthday party this Saturday! The rest of the Webosaurs are out of town, and he’d love it if you came by the Giant Umbrella to celebrate with him. We’ve got a lot of awesome decorations planned but we need some peeps to fill the place!

As usual, we’re going to need some live entertainment… we’ll need waiters to serve cake and someone to make Swamp Juice drinks from behind the bar. Not to mention some chefs and plenty of people to party!! This party is going to rock.

Also, as a special surprise, everyone who comes to the party will get a Horns birthday cake in their caves on Sunday! See you at the Giant Umbrella this Saturday at 12:00 WST in the Jurassic server.

Hope you guys are ready to laugh your armor off once again at this Friday’s Comedy Night at the Lizard Lounge. Every dino who comes will have a chance to come up on the stage and tell their favorite joke. Our panel of guest judges will pick their top 3 favorite jokes and give out cheesey trophies!

The competition is just for fun though… the real awesomeness comes from the jokes. Comedy Night is the best entertainment show on the web.

Please remember to be respectful of other dinos telling jokes and not go up on the stage unless it is your turn. Every single dino will get to tell a joke, so please be patient. Comedy night starts at 17:30 WST this Friday on the Jurassic server. w00t!

Thank you to everyone who submitted their entries for the Rexxy Awards. Entries are closed, but you can still come to this fantastic event tomorrow to find out who will win a Rexxy Award! This is the party you might not have heard, but Rexxy, Horns, Pterry and Stretch will all be there to hang out and present awards! Whether you’re a filmmaker, an actor or just a fan this event will be one to remember.

Join us at the Lizard Lounge at 12:00 WST to mingle and hang with the stars. We’ll start presenting around 12:30 WST and go until its over. We may even invite some singers up to the stage to belt out a tune between awards! After that we’ll decide where to have the after party. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

….we’ve got some awesome events coming up this weekend

Tonight (Friday) - Karaoke Night - First official party in the new Understory Layer. Join Rexxy and your friends at the Giant Umbrella for some fun-filled karaoke and hanging out. Don’t want to sing? Be a waiter, or a chef… first person to claim restaurant manager gets it! We may even need a Karaoke DJ to pick singers. Event starts at 17:30 WST in the Jurassic Server at the Giant Umbrella. Don’t forget to unlock the Understory Layer first!

Sunday - Rexxy Awards Ceremony - Remember that today is the last day to submit your video entries to info@webosaurs.com. The Rexxy Awards Ceremony will commence at 12:00 WST at the Lizard Lounge in Jurassic server. Come hang out with the entire Webosaurs cast: Rexxy, Horns, Pterry and Stretch for this awesome event.

WOOT! It’s time to have our first ever official party at the brand new Understory Layer. We’re going to be celebrating at the Giant Umbrella with a bluggin’ karaoke night! Rexxy will be on hand to hang out and watch you step up to the mic and deliver a rendition of your favorite song, Webosaurs style.

It’s not just going to be singing though as we want an all out fiesta! We’ll need chefs, waiters and hosts to run the evening and for the rest of you to enjoy yourselves. You could even take a turn as the Karaoke night MC, calling up dinos to the stage to belt out their favorite tunes.

If you haven’t unlocked the Understory Layer yet, be sure to check out the quest that can be found at the Forest Floor.

A bluggin' good time awaits

Hey there VIP members! Are you ready for another awesome members-only party at the Bluggin’ Beach Bunker? This Friday Pterry and Stretch are coming to Webosaurs’ coolest club on the island to jam out to some sick tunes and munch on a little grub. Knowing Stretch, he’ll probably wander off and fall asleep in the lava pit.

We need some dinos to help cater the party and serve refreshments to the party-goers. We’re also going to need a DJ or two to spin some tracks by the dance floor.

Be there this Friday at 17:00 WST in the Jurassic server to get down at this awesome party. Stretch and Pterry are looking forward to hanging with you!

Win a Rexxy for your video submission

It’s that time of the year again! You know what I’m talking about… the Academy Awards! The most prestigious of all movie awards is going down in a couple weeks and we want in on the action.

One of the best areas of fan creations that I’ve seen from you guys comes in the form of the videos you’ve made. They’ve been awesome. So… in this spirit we have created the first ever REXXY AWARDS! The statue is called a Rexxy and you can win one with your video submission!

Best Horror

Best Mod Movie

Submit your videos by Friday, March 5th for them to be considered for voting. You can make them as short or as long as you want. They must take place on the island… but if you decided to do a cartoon with Webosaurs characters that works too (We may add a separate category if more than one person does a cartoon).

They can be by yourself or with a whole cast, it really doesn’t matter! The point is, let your imaginations run wild, make whatever video you want and enter into the competition. You can email me at info@webosaurs.com with a YouTube link or the file itself. Be sure to include “Rexxy Award Submission” in the subject line or it may not get judged. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

Last bit… you can submit an old Webosaurs video you’ve already made if you like. Most importantly, have fun making your videos! Rexxy Award night will take place on March 7th.
