Prepare for a night of laughs because it’s almost time for another Comedy Night here on Webosaurs!

Let’s face it. It’s hard to come up with new, funny jokes every Comedy Night. This Comedy Night will be a bit different because now we’re specifically looking for corny jokes. Come prepared with the cheesiest, lamest jokes you can think of and have a great time laughing about how un-funny we all are! And since we’re not competing for the best joke, everyone that tells a joke wins. All participants will have a Pirate Flag delivered to their cave as a participation prize.

The Corny Joke Matinee is Saturday, September 4th at 12:00 WST. Meet in the Lizard Lounge on Jurassic server. Remember that each dino gets one turn to tell a joke. Dinos will be called up by name to come on the stage and show off their lack of comedy skillz. Please do not go on the stage unless it is your turn.

You dinos must be excited about going back to school because we had some really great school themed caves. Your teachers would be proud!

Even though we had a lot of good submissions, a few A+ quality caves stood out. All of our winners have a bluggin’ banner heading their way as a prize. Make sure to stop by these caves to congratulate the winners and celebrate the coming school year!

Hey dinos! Are you ready for the big Snowball Skirmish tournament tomorrow!?  Snowball Skirmish is the game of the week, so keep on practicing and earning those bonus coins.

Last weekend Rex led a revolt against school, but now it’s time to come to terms with reality. It’s time to go back to school!!! Of course, just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean the good times have to end on Webosaurs Island.

As all the dinos prepare to head back to school, we’re challenging everyone to a Back to School themed cave contest! Create a cave that reminds you of going back to school or transform your cave into your very own classroom. We’re looking for unique and creative caves that stick to our school theme. Sign up for the contest by leaving a comment in this blog post and we’ll send our judges out this Sunday to find the top caves!

Snowball Skirmish is the game of the week, so what better time to hold a Snowball Skirmish Tourney! The tournament will be run in team format so it’s important to get your team together as soon as possible! Our winning teams will receive a coveted Volcano Trophy for their caves.

Here’s how it’s going to work. We have a limited amount of space for the tournament. We will be taking a total of 8 teams with 3 members each. There will be three rounds in the tournament, and a team member can only compete in one round. So the two teams that reach the finals will be using all three members. It’s up to the team to decide who will compete in what round.

Once you have figured out your teams, each person needs to post a comment to this post with their team name. As soon as everyone in your team has posted a comment with the team name, you will be entered in the competition. We will take the first 8 teams to register. If someone falls through by gametime, you can use a substitute.

You will be meeting at the Lizard Lounge at Webo Ridge at 12:00 WST (Aug 21st, Triassic server). Please follow the instructions of the Modosaurs to make this tournament as quick and easy as possible! These are always hard to pull off so we appreciate everyone being patient and cooperative. Good luck, dinos!

Friday the 13th has come and gone so it looks like Webosaurs managed to survive the dreaded day of bad luck. We experienced no volcanic eruptions, no dino-eating monster attacks, and no prairie dog invasions! All is well on Webosaurs Island.

But don’t get too comfortable just yet! The spooky superstitions aren’t quite over because we’re about to announce the winners of the Friday the 13th cave contest. We had some absolutely AWESOME cave submissions this time around. If you’re brave, don’t forget to stop by these winning caves to congratulate their owners.

Beware, dinos, tomorrow is Friday the 13th! According to folklore, Friday the 13th is a day of bad luck. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Of course, dinosaurs are too tough to be afraid of a little superstition like Friday the 13th, so we’re challenging everyone to a Friday the 13th themed cave contest! What kind of eerie, mysterious and spooky Friday the 13th caves can you come up with?  A few participants will defy all the unlucky Friday the 13th superstitions and win a bluggin’ cave banner and be featured here in our blog. If anyone out there didn’t believe in sea serpents, Webosaurs has just proven you wrong! Sea serpents have been spotted in caves all across the island.

We had some really great caves today and a tough decision to make. After a day spent looking for these marvelous, mysterious serpents in your caves, we’ve finally picked our winners. Make sure to wish them a job well done!
