It’s battle time, arctic style! This week’s Game of the Week is the freezingly wonderful game of Snowball Skirmish. Battle your friends face to face in a cold test of skill as you attempt to be the Snowball Skirmish champion. Using your trusty Snowball Cannon, make sure you have a big enough snowball, the right angle and the right amount of power to launch a nasty pack of cold ice at your opponent!

You can find this awesome game at Webo Ridge. Game of the Week always means that the game will be giving out extra coins so make sure to grab a friend and have some snowy fun!

The swamp is ripe with bugs, and they all need to be DESTROYED!

Suggested by Hornstrkier on Twitter, this week’s Game of the Week is Shoo Bug! Found in the Soggy Bottom Swamp, Shoo Bug is the game where you take a fly swatter and swat the bug juice out of insects that are invading all over! Make it through enough waves and you’ll come across a Black Scorpion who will prove no easy opponent!

As with all Game of the Week’s, Shoo Bug will be giving out many more coins than normal this week so head on over to the Soggy Bottom Swamp and start killing some insects.

Pet Shop can be found in the Understory Layer

Hey dinos! Been wanting to pick up a pet for yourself but have found them to be too expensive so far? Or do you have a porcupine and have been wanting to trade in for a Little Fang? Now is the perfect time to do so because we just slashed the prices for all pets!! To use really dorky advertising terms, this is the sale of the century! Previously priced at 7000 coins you can now get a pet for only 3000.

We have more than enough of these critters running around in the Food and Poo’d Pet Shop and they all need homes. Head to the Understory Layer (or unlock it if you haven’t already) to get to the pet shop. Pets are members only so if you still need to get a membership you can pick one up here. Enjoy your new pet!

This weekend is a Song and Dance Party weekend! We’re kicking off the two day celebration with a KARAOKE night and following up on Saturday with a DANCE PARTY tournament. Put on your dancing shoes and clear your throat for a fun weekend ahead.

Karaoke Night

A party chosen by you! Karaoke Night will work just like Comedy Night. Everyone who comes to the party will have a chance to get up on the stage and sing a few lines of their favorite song. You can even invite some friends to come up for backing vocals, or do a duet! At the end of the party, the guest judges will pick the top 3 performances and award coins and cheesey trophies. The event will be held in the Understory Layer so make sure you’ve unlocked it if you haven’t already!

Dance Party Tournament

Day two of the Song and Dance Weekend is an all out Dance Party Tournament. No sign ups, just show up for the event and we’ll do groups of three. A mod will be in game for each one to referee the scores. We’ll just keep going until it filters down to two people left for a final. All dances will be held on hard mode and the tournament will be single elimination. We’ll be meeting in Buckland’s Peak and all dinos will stay in the peak unless their name is called for a round. After the round all dinos are to head back to Buckland’s Peak until it is their turn again.

Winners of the Dance Party Tournament will be getting the coveted Raptor Trophies!

You’ve asked for it and now it’s happening. This week’s Game of the Week is none other than the crazy destruction of Demolition Derby. Hop in your best derby car to destroy your friends. If ramming them isn’t enough, fire off with your machine gun or drop some bombs on a fool!

You can find Demolition Derby on the right side of the Tonto Plateau. If you need a break from getting blown up you can always shake a leg across the way at Dance Party. Oh yeah, and Demolition Derby usually gives out a lot of coins as it is. This week it should giving out a whole lot more.

ZING ZING. Blast some rocks at flying pterodactyls in one of our favorite single player games on the Island. Take on wave after wave of Pterrys carrying targets, the further away they are the more points you get! This is one game where you have the potential to earn a whole lot of coins if you can stay on top of the clock. Is your aim sharp enough to master Zing a Rock?

Play this game in the Prairie Pool, right in front of Rolling Hills Chamber. Don’t go too hard on those poor pterodactyls!

What an awesome party today!! We partied hard for Webosaurs’ one year birthday for over 2 hours in Buckland’s Peak with Rexxy, Horns, ModosaurKaro, ModosaurPlio and myself! Dinos brought their friends and hung out, answering trivia questions for coin codes and generally being very silly. Jmann93 stopped by and initiated some ridiculous behavior. Destructor was destructive, Monster_man ate things and everyone farted a lot – causing a serious gas cloud.

What an exciting event! One full year of Webosaurs craziness being celebrated and we can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for the Island. You’ve helped shape this place we know and love, advising us on important decisions and how to build Webosaurs into something you love. Thank you. We expect many more years of bluggin’ Webosaurs awesomeness with some insane updates just on the horizon. We’ll continue to grow this Island as it gets better and better with each passing day.

Hey all! We’re having a great time celebrating Webosaurs’ birthday this week. There is a lot going on so we wanted to give you a quick recap of the events and contests going down right now, with links to the original posts.

Sunday is that American holiday we all know and love, the 4th of July! Come celebrate independence, good food and awesome fireworks this Sunday at 12:00 WST at Tonto Plateau in the Jurassic server. We’ll be having some sweet fireworks blasting off in the sky for the party, you aren’t going to want to miss it! Pterry and Stretch will be hanging out for the whole party, getting into crazy 4th of July shenanigans. Let’s just hope Pterry didn’t whip up some kind of super firework or the party may close early for explosions!! Explosions or not, coin codes will be involved at this crazy event. See you there!
